Exercise

Ok, let me start by saying that I know exercise is good for you, good for your heart, your lungs, your muscles, all that stuff that provides the vessel of your body to propel you through life. However, I am lazy and hate exercise. There. I said it. I am lazy and do not enjoy exercise. I just got back from a 30 minutes interval walk/run. iPod was on shuffle and some good stuff was playing but I still hate it. All those people that run miles everyday (I see you pass by me when I'm walking), run marathons, do triathlons, bile for days on end, I am jealous of you. I do not have the desire to do that but I like the idea of being able to do it. I'll stick to my yoga practice, as sporadic as it can be at times, and do my interval training and weight training irregularly just like always.

Oh, and 2 week with no soda of any kind. Yea me!

First blog...

Ok, so a blog is really just the 21st century's version of a diary or journal, right? I mean, as a young girl I wrote in a diary and kept it locked with a key and hidden so my younger brother and sister wouldn't read it.

Now, with technology and the instant gratification of the world - through camera phones, Twitter, and Facebook - we feel the need to put everything out there for all to see. I never thought I would do this but I just feel like I have stuff to say and even if no one reads it, I feel better about getting it off my chest and out of my mind. And, let's face it, most people are secretly interested in what other people have to say even if they don't admit it. It's like being a fly n the wall... so, be a fly on my wall.
